We offer many residential services, from small deliveries and handy-person work to professional packing and interstate relocation. We aim to provide a stress-free moving experience, delivering top-notch service at affordable, flat-rate prices.
We believe in people. At the core of our mission is a commitment to support nonprofit and community-based organizations doing positive work in New York City. Therefore, a portion of all proceeds goes toward supporting these projects, from delivering compost to community gardens, providing transportation for youth football teams, and filling community fridges.
Solidarity Movers recently delivered equipment, and 200 boxes of donated food, household items, and school supplies for a free community event with Brooklyn Gives in Harlem. With the organization GMACC (Gangstas Making Astronomical Community Changes), we’ve helped deliver food donations to Brooklyn housing projects and employ some of its youth members. We recently provided HealthJox Foundation service on a sliding scale to support their mission. One of our most robust collaborations is with Mayday Space; Solidarity Movers provides on-call service for refrigerator donations to community fridges and other moving services. We provide sliding scale service for survivors of domestic violence leaving abusive situations with the organization Sakhi for South Asian Women. In addition, we specifically train our crew to be sensitive to these situations. We have assisted Soul Fire Farm with building community garden builds in the Spring for the last four years. We also work with NYC-based community gardens but mostly upstate. Our crew recently picked up and delivered 500 boxes of donated food, household items, and school supplies at free community events with the Uncle Chase Foundation.

Bedstuy Campaign Against Hunger – https://bedstuyagainsthunger.org/ BSCAH was founded in 1998 as a small traditional food pantry operating out of a church basement and is now the largest pantry in Brooklyn, providing the basic staples of a well-balanced diet to more than 30,000 low-income individuals each month.

Big Reuse – https://www.instagram.com/bigreuse/ – Big Reuse is a nonprofit organization fighting climate change through zero waste initiatives. They operate a reuse center in Brooklyn, two large community composting sites, outreach for City curbside composting programs, and green job training programs.
BK ROT – bkrot.org/ – BK Rot is a youth-run, compost collection program that collects by bike from local residents and processes the material at community gardens in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Through this creative process, CITYarts empowers, educates, and connects youth and children locally and around the world to become active participants in realizing their potential and transforming communities.
